Good to know
When you come to Switzerland to study, whether you come from the EU or a non-EU country, you are entitled to an exemption from the Swiss compulsory health insurance (KVG/LAMal) as long as you can provide either your European insurance card or you have coverage equivalent to the KVG/LAMal.
If you have European coverage in this case, we suggest that you take out the complementary product that you can find here.
If you come from a country outside the EU, in this case you have the choice between two levels of coverage at very attractive prices. The first is our “Swiss Studies essentials” solution which offers you the basic coverage.
